4 Must-Haves for a Solid Foundation in Marketing for Photographers {Ep 048}

Plus: the Boudoir Marketing Masterclass is OPEN!

Welcome back amazing business owners, thank you so much for pressing play – I have a special episode for you today, to celebrate the Boudoir Marketing Masterclass being officially available online as of October 15! Marketing for photographers is a HUGE subject, so in that class we’re going to break it down to boudoir marketing specifically. If you HAVEN’T registered yet, why the heck not? This is the class that I taught at WPPI – plus some amazing bonus information that wasn’t available then – that had VERY high reviews. Several of my students have asked me to put it online so they could see, because they weren’t able to travel or weren’t able to make the class – so here it is! And, as a special THANK YOU for attending live, if you attend live, you will get a special $50 bonus.

So if you’re not registered yet and need more help in boudoir marketing or marketing for photographers, click here to get yourself registered, and then put it on your calendar!

Even if you listen to this episode AFTER the live recording, you can still get in on the recording and ALL of the bonuses that are included – plus get help in the community, it’s a win-win.

Today we’re going to talk about a small piece of that class, because these things are pieces you need to have in place as a solid foundation to really help you when it comes to marketing. Marketing for photographers is telling people about what you offer – and if you don’t really KNOW what you offer, or it’s not consistent, your marketing will be more difficult. Your message will be watered down.
The service or product that you provide really matters. I feel like I say this a lot, but I want you to know this, to really embrace it, and to internalize it. I know that it took me awhile to really GET this, because I figured it wasn’t a big deal, right? Taking photos of women in lingerie is just fun, it’s not a big deal, right? WRONG. My clients have been telling me for YEARS how much it meant to them to have this experience, that it changed their lives, and sent them on a path that they never would have even thought of before their sessions. Is it every client that tells me this? No – there are some that come in just for the photos and they’re done. But it is definitely the majority of my clients, and even if the service that I provide helps just ONE person, it is well worth the effort to get the right marketing, messaging and experience in front of those people. That’s EXACTLY what marketing for photographers really is!
